In 1978, when I began what is now Metro General Construction inc, I felt that my commitment to serving clients went beyond a professional or moral obligation. I believed then, as I do today, that this business is my calling and that my responsibility to my clients is best described as stewardship.
Today, Metro General Construction continues this stewardship. To all of us, stewardship means we accept not only the responsibility to perform our work in the best way we know how — we search for ways to do more than that.
At MGC, stewardship means:
•listening to more than words — we listen for feelings and reasons behind the words;
•treating our client’s resources with more care than we apply even to our own;
•approaching each task with humility, knowing that someone else may know more or has better answers.
Finally, stewardship means placing the needs of others before our own.
We invite you to get to know us through our projects presented here. Once you’ve had a chance to enjoy them, we’d appreciate hearing your thoughts.
